With the 3K K-onnection to the Top of Salzburg
Out of your bed, head up on to the mountain and taste that glacier air - the 3K K-onnection enables you to do just that. From Kaprun town centre (just a few minutes' walk from the ever.grün) proceed via the Maiskogel ski area up to the Kitzsteinhorn. The summit is at 3029 metres, making it the highest point in this area. On the 'Top of Salzburg' viewing platform, rugged rock-faces, fresh snow and really cool views are in store.

The year-round ski area, Kitzsteinhorn in Kaprun, sets every winter sports lover's heart racing. Those who come to enjoy the powder enjoy guaranteed 100 % snow-assuredness from October on the wide natural snow pistes. Skiing and snowboarding carries on right through to summer. For the riders out there among you, the 3 Snow-parks on the glacier provide the perfect training area. Cross-country skiing and ski touring in the altitude air are worth a go too. And when your belly starts growling, you'll definitely find some delicious food in one of the traditional Alpine inns and mountain restaurants.

Hike & Bike
The Kitzsteinhorn is a mountain for hiking like no other. While scaling the summit in the summer on a high mountain tour, it might even be that you cross paths with a few skiers. A few bikers might dart past too; here on the Kitzsteinhorn there is something for all ability levels and all preferences. MTB routes, freeride trails with dare-devil jumps and E-Bike routes provide variety.
