With the 3K K-onnection to the Top of Salzburg
Out of your bed, head up on to the mountain and taste that glacier air – the 3K K-onnection enables you to do just that. From Kaprun town centre (just a few minutes' walk from the alpine lifestyle hotel ever.grün) proceed via the Maiskogel ski area up to the Kitzsteinhorn. The summit is at 3,029 metres, making it the highest point in this area. On the 'Top of Salzburg' viewing platform, rugged rock-faces, fresh snow and really cool views are in store.

Skiing & Snowboarding: Go shred!
The Kitzsteinhorn in Kaprun is one of the most popular winter sports resorts in the Salzburg region and delights visitors with a particularly long skiing season. Thanks to its high altitude, you can expect excellent snow conditions from as early as October and skiing fun well into early summer. Look forward to a variety of natural snow slopes, diverse freeride opportunities, four first-class snow parks and impressive ski tours against a high-alpine backdrop. Cosy ski huts, excellent mountain restaurants and a variety of winter events perfectly round off the experience on the glacier.

The Kitzsteinhorn is a mountain for hiking in Salzburg like no other. While scaling the summit in the summer on a high mountain tour, it might even be that you cross paths with a few skiers. A few bikers might dart past too – here on the Kitzsteinhorn there is something for all ability levels and all preferences. MTB routes, freeride trails with daredevil jumps and e-bike routes provide variety.
